Machine Shop Support Systems
An extensive support system manned by a highly skilled workforce with many years of experience in all types of engineering is readily at hand to help with any problems which may occur.
The CNC Machines are supported by two E.C.S Concerto CAM Programming Positions which are manned day and night.
All the CNC Machines are networked directly to the programming stations allowing greater control and handling of programmes.
The production engineering department also contains an orion systems autogas computerised tool management system which controls the tool store and purchasing of consumable tooling.
The production engineering department also has a CAD Station where pre-clad drawings and in-house tolling are drawn on Autocad 2000. Drawings can also be scanned or downloaded by email and plotted on a Hewlett Packard Design Jet 1050C Plotter.

- The light machine shop includes an area set aside for steel stock storage with a bandsaw capable of cutting billets of up to 25" in diameter
Toolstore / Toolroom
To support the machine shop, Belmar has a toolroom and presetting section. Manned by a skilled workforce this section provides special tooling of the most complex types to suit customers various needs.
